Fairfield Horseshoe

This walk is a favourite amongst walkers and on a good day gives a great view of the Lake District. You will need a certain level of fitness as the walk is 16.4km and has ups and downs. The walk takes in 8 Wainwrights, with the Highest point being Fairfield itself at 873m. Under 18's must be accommodated by an adult.

You will be guided around the horseshoe by an experienced and qualified instructor, who will share their experience and skills. The walk will begin and finish in Ambleside.

Cost - £45 inclusive of VAT per person

Dates - 10th March 2024

Loughrigg Fell

Ok, Loughrigg isn't a mountain but it is in the heart of the Lake District and is one of the Wainwrights. It stands at 335m so is a good introduction for people starting out and ideal for children.

The walk will begin and finish in Ambleside, we will take the Loughrigg Terrace path and visit the caves. This cave is home to a dragon (well that's what I used to tell my boys when they were younger). Under 18's must be accommodated by an adult. The Walk isn't too long or strenuous so should be time to visit Ambleside when we return.

You will be guided by an experienced and qualified instructor, so you can relax and just enjoy the walk.

Coniston - 2 day adventure

This is a two day adventure, exploring one of my favourite areas of the Lake District. A trip to Coniston requires a walk up the Old Man of Coniston but there are many other fells and things to see along the way. There will be a choice of two walks each day and you will be guided by an experienced and qualified Instructor. Under 18's must be accommodated by an adult.

Join us on the Friday evening in one of the local pubs to meet the leader and discuss the two days.

Your accommodation and food isn't included in the trip please arrange and meet us Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Cost - £95 inclusive of VAT per person

Date - 10th-11th April 2024

        - 4th-5th May 2024

        - 17-18th August 2024
