DofE Open Expeditions
Giving you more opportunity
If you are unable to do your DofE Expedition though your school or centre or are unable to make their dates, an open expedition is the option for you. We currently have Bronze, Silver and Gold walking expeditions available.
It is a great way to meet and work with new people also on their DofE journey.
Bronze Expeditions
Location: Darwen/Rivington
Bronze Qualifying 31st may- 01 June 2024 or 8-9th August 2024
We offer a two day Qualifying Expedition for those who have completed training and practice expeditions. The cost is £132 (inclusive of VAT)
£60 deposit required when booking and full payment is required 10 weeks before the expedition.

Silver Expeditions
Location: Pendle/Forest of Bowland
Silver Practice - 3-5th April 2024
Silver Qualifying - 28-30th May 2024 or 14-16th August 2024
We offer 3 day practice and 3 day Qualifying Expeditions. Each costing £198 (inclusive of VAT) or book both for discounted price of £370 (inclusive of VAT).
£95 deposit required when booking per expedition and full payment is required 10 weeks before the expedition.

Gold Expeditions
Location: Lake district
Gold Practice - 8th -12th April 2024
Gold Qualifying - 29th July - 2nd August 2024
We offer 5 day Practice and 5 day Qualifying Expeditions. Each costing £340 (inclusive of VAT) or book both for discounted price of £650 (inclusive of VAT).
£100 deposit required when booking per expedition and full payment is required 10 weeks before the expedition.
